= Ingredients =

* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 small onion, diced (1/2 to 3/4 cup)
* 1-2 cloves garlic
* 15 oz can diced tomatoes, with juice
* 1 tsp salt
* 2-3 tbsp chili powder
* ~1 tsp oregano
* ~1/2 tsp cumin
* 16 oz can beans (whatever kind you want - usually black beans or pintos)

= Procedure =

# Brown meat with onion, adding garlic for the last minute or two
# Add remaining ingredients except beans, simmer for an hour or so
# Add beans, cook for another 15 min or so
